No longer an active program (Formerly Sundays 3-4pm)
WU-Who was a talk show that aired between August 2013 and May 2015. It was programmed entirely by Willamette University students, mentored by Professor Karen Holman. The goals of this program were (1) to teach the wider community about the leadership roles and outreach that Willamette students do, and (2) to highlight local nonprofits that contribute to the well-being of the Mid-Willamette Valley. Ultimately they hope that this show served to create a stronger bridge between Salem and Willamette University. The program was part of a university class that is now over, but many of the programs are available here as podcasts.
Willamette University Creative Writing students read excerpts from their senior thesis projects. Students Sasha Ives, Christopher Ketchum, Kate Piluso, Amy Snodgrass, and Sarah Walker are featured, along with their mentor Professor Mike Chasar.
Willamette University student Brooke Stinogel interviews WU senior Natalie Pate about her work with Amnesty International, Willamette Dance Company, and her original musical composition and performance.
Willamette University student Elaine Norcia interviews WU junior Jaide Farr about her leadership activities in the Willamette Chemistry Club that carries out numerous outreach activities to local schools to promote excitement of science.
