The NAACP is the oldest civil rights organization in the United States.  Over 2,000 local branches will be holding elections for leadership positions soon. While these elections are not open to the general public – only recognized members could vote – this organization is a critical thread in our community’s fabric.  KMUZ  introduces you to the three people running for president of the Salem Keizer branch.  Meet Benny Williams (incumbent), Gregg Peterson, and Dr. Reginald Richardson.  The general introduction about the NAACP is part of Mr. Williams’ interview.
